As a QHSE Manager, you are instrumental in ensuring that projects are executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance. You will lead all aspects of QHSE planning, execution, and improvement while cultivating a strong safety culture across large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust QHSE policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with local regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and safety and environmental audits to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
- Overseeing daily on-site safety practices, ensuring full compliance with HSE regulations and corporate standards.
- Leading incident investigations and root cause analyses, driving corrective actions and follow-ups to prevent recurrence.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver effective QHSE training programs for employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Preparing and maintaining all necessary documentation, reports, and records to meet audit, inspection, and client requirements.
- Monitor QHSE KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to uphold safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and managing regulatory interactions.
- Supporting emergency preparedness through response planning, safety drills, and awareness campaigns.
- Fostering a safety-first culture by leading by example and promoting ongoing safety communication and leadership.
- Managing QHSE aspects of procurement, vetting suppliers and contractors to meet strict quality and safety standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of experience inQHSE management within electrical or energy infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience working with major clients such as Aramco, Maaden, SEC, or equivalent organizations.
- Deep understanding of QHSE standards and legal regulations (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA, OHSAS).
- Demonstrated ability to conduct audits, lead investigations, and perform detailed risk assessments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in developing and executing safety training and awareness programs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage priorities under pressure.
