Job Description

• Conduct thorough inspections of piping systems and mechanical components to ensure compliance with preservation standards and specifications.
• Review and verify preservation documentation, including storage conditions, handling procedures, and maintenance protocols for piping and mechanical parts.
• Identify and report defects or non-conformance issues in materials and processes, ensuring prompt corrective actions are taken.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of preservation activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local and international codes, standards, and regulations related to piping and mechanical preservation.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors in preservation techniques, fostering a culture of quality and accountability within the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, providing a strong technical foundation for the role.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in QC inspection, specifically in piping and mechanical preservation within industrial settings.
• Experience working in oil and gas, petrochemical, or similar industries, showcasing familiarity with sector-specific practices and challenges.
• Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration across diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling quick identification of issues and formulation of pragmatic solutions.
• Saudi Aramco project experience with SAP reference transmittal and CBT passed document is mandatory.
• Technical knowledge of engineering codes and standards such as ASME B 31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME, API 570, AWS D1.1
