Have 7 years of experience in inspection for candidates with a university degree, and 10 years of experience in inspection for those with a high school diploma. As a minimum, the candidate shall have 3 years directly related to the supervision of construction activities in oil, gas, and petrochemical.
Good knowledge of static, rotating, and package equipment, with direct work experience in the inspection of equipment.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of work-related engineering codes and standards, such as ASTM, API, ANSI/ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and AWS D1.1.
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of mechanical process systems inspection and testing; procedures, tools, and test equipment used in receiving, storage, erection, construction, and pre-commissioning of diesel engines, pumps, compressors, motors and generators, fans, gearboxes, auxiliary cooling and lubrication systems, packaged process equipment, pipe, pipe fittings, valves, pressure vessels, structural steel, hot/cold insulation, and other equipment and commodities as required for the work.
Certified API 510 - Pressure Vessel Inspector, or those who wish to obtain API 510 certification in the short term.
Saudi Aramco experience is preferred.
