Job Description
- Conduct detailed inspections and calibrations of laboratory instruments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Document and maintain accurate records of instrument performance and calibration results for traceability and quality assurance.
- Identify and troubleshoot instrument malfunctions, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with technical support for complex issues.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements in instrumentation and recommend upgrades or replacements as necessary.
- Train and mentor junior staff on inspection protocols, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to instrument quality control processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while working with potentially hazardous materials in a laboratory setting.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific field is essential for understanding complex instrumentation.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in quality control or instrumentation within a regulated industry, such as pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to accurately assess instrument performance and identify discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Saudi Aramco project experience with SAP reference transmittal and CBT passed document is mandatory.
- Technical knowledge of engineering codes and standards, interpret drawings such as PandID, connection list, Hook-up, Data sheets, etc.
- Working knowledge of inspection, measuring, and test tools, ITP study, pre-inspection, RFI management,
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
