Job description

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing methods, including:
    Radiographic Testing (RT)
    Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
    Magnetic Particle Testing (MT/MPI)
    Dye Penetrant Testing (PT/DPI)
    Visual Testing (VT)
  • Interpret and evaluate results to determine the acceptability of welds, base materials, or components as per codes (ASME, AWS, API, ISO).
  • Compile final documentation for QA/QC dossier or project handover package.
  • Ensure traceability of test results with weld maps, joints, and components.
  • Witness or supervise tests performed by technicians and review test results for accuracy.
  • Support repair and re-test activities for rejected welds or components.
  • Verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) include required NDT steps.
  • Monitor and control NDT hold points on ITPs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of an associate degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in NDT principles.
  • Certifications in NDT methods, such as ASNT Level II or III, are essential, showcasing professional commitment and expertise.
  • Experience working in oil and gas, aerospace, or manufacturing industries, with at least 3-5 years of hands-on NDT experience.
