Overview

The QC Engineer for Electrical systems plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electrical components and systems within various projects. This position involves rigorous testing, inspection, and validation processes to maintain high standards of quality and compliance with industry regulations. The QC Engineer will collaborate with project teams to identify quality requirements and implement effective quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle. This role is essential for minimizing defects and ensuring that all electrical installations meet the specified standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement quality control plans for electrical systems.
  2. Conduct inspections and tests on electrical components and installations.
  3. Identify and document non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
  4. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure quality standards are met.
  5. Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and quality metrics.
  6. Review and approve subcontractor quality control plans.
  7. Assist in the development of training programs for quality assurance personnel.
  8. Ensure compliance with local and international electrical standards.
  9. Participate in project meetings to discuss quality issues and improvements.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in quality control.

  • Verify testing, commissioning, and proper operation of electrical systems.
  • Prepare QC reports, document non-conformances, and follow up corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and airport operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with design, construction, and commissioning teams.
