Overview
The QC Engineer for Electrical systems plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of electrical components and systems within various projects. The QC Engineer will collaborate with project teams to identify quality requirements and implement effective quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans for electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections and tests on electrical components and installations.
- Identify and document non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure quality standards are met.
- Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and quality metrics.
- Review and approve subcontractor quality control plans.
- Assist in the development of training programs for quality assurance personnel.
- Ensure compliance with local and international electrical standards.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss quality issues and improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in quality control.

Skills
- Bachelor’s in electrical engineering.
- 5–7 years QC/inspection experience in electrical projects (generators, MV/LV systems, switchgear).
- Knowledge of electrical standards (IEC/NEC) and testing procedures. Inspect electrical materials, equipment, and installations for compliance. Monitor installation of generators, MV/LV cables, and switchgear.
- Verify testing, commissioning, and proper operation of electrical systems.
- Prepare QC reports, document non-conformances, and follow up corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and airport operational requirements.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving, and strong reporting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in electrical testing and inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001).
- Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
