QC Coating Supervisor - Aramco Approved

Role Description

Mission

Ensure the supervision of coating and painting inspection activities and verify the implementation of Quality Control Plans.

Tasks

1. Check Quality Control Plans related to coating and painting activities.
2. Verify the availability and adequacy of consumables and equipment/instrumentation used for coating and painting execution and control.
3. Ensure materials and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved, calibrated, handled, identified, and traceable.
4. Support and evaluate the qualification of inspection personnel, verify work procedures, including those related to special processes.
5. Assist in defining QC Information System rules.
6. Supervise and witness inspections, review reports and documentation issued by inspectors, and verify the collection of required Quality Records.
7. Ensure tests, controls, and inspections are conducted according to Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test Plans, and verify the collection of relevant documentation, including for mechanical completion approval.
8. For subcontracted activities, verify proper implementation of approved Quality Control Plans / Inspection Test Plans, witness inspections, and collect relevant Quality Control Records.
9. Verify the collection and management of documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections, ensuring records are properly retrievable within the final As-Built dossier.
10. Oversee the preparation of the Quality works dossier for final handover to the Document Controller.
11. Ensure the NCR management process is in place and effective.
12. Support coating production activities as needed.
13. Act as QC Coating inspector when necessary.

Requirements:

1. Must be Aramco approved, CBT passed, and hold NACE Level II or BGAS Grade I certification.
2. Minimum of 7 years of coating inspection experience in Oil & Gas.
3. Familiarity with Aramco surface preparation, paint systems, and inspection protocols.
