Candidates should have a Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree, with expertise in quality control and assurance. Responsibilities

• Study approved drawings and technical specifications for the project.
• Draft and finalize Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP).
• Establish Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for construction activities.
• Obtain customer approval of quality documents and coordinate implementation.
• Review and edit method statements with the construction team.
• Raise and ensure Inspection Requests (IR) as per contract requirements.
• Ensure all quality requirements of projects of subcontracted works.
• Coordinate with site team for inspections and close out comments.
• Maintain documents and records of the quality function.
• Conduct training and quality promotion programs.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for deviations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Study the approved drawings, material / equipment approvals, and technical specifications, standards etc. required for the project and implement the same as applicable.
• Draft and finalize Project Quality Assurance Plan (PQAP) for the assigned project
• Establish Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and checklists for various construction activities of project and ensure its implementation.
• Obtain customer approval of various quality documents from internal / customer representative and coordinate & implement the same across the project.
• Review and edit method statements in consultation with Construction Manager / Site Engineers for various construction activities.
• Raise / ensure work / material / equipment Inspection Requests (IR) as per contract requirements / ITPs on time and on regular basis.
• Ensure all quality requirements of projects of subcontracted works (document / approvals / inspections / other).
• Coordinate with site team for arranging inspections / tests and close out of comments
• Ensure the preparation, review, approval and maintenance of all documents / records of quality function in traceable way.
• Conduct orientation / training / quality promotion programs as required on project.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for any deviations and also follow up for necessary corrective actions to close the NCRs.
