Job summary

A leading company in steel buildings is seeking a qualified NDT Technician with at least 7 years of experience. The role involves conducting various NDT inspections, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with testing standards. Qualifications

• Must possess certifications in American Welding Society, CWI, CSWIP, and NDT Level II.
• Minimum of 7 years working experience as Welding and NDT Technician.

Responsibilities

• Conducts NDT Inspection including Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Penetrant and Radiographic Testing.
• Retests welded materials after repair to ensure quality acceptance.
• Prepares Inspection Reports and Non-Conformance Reports for submission.

Job description

• Checks on the Inspection Testing Plan requirements before proceeding with the NDT.
• Conducts NDT Inspection which includes Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT),
  Penetrant Testing (PT) and Radiographic Testing (RT).
• Checks and reports to Shop Floor Supervisor any deviation in the quality.
• Retests the welded materials after repair for acceptance of quality based on company requirements.
• Maintains RT record and radiographs for reference purposes.
• Prepares Inspection Report and Non?Conformance Reports (if any) for submission to immediate head.
• Observes properly the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, face masks and the like while inside the shop?floor.
