Job description

  1. Develop and implement QA/QC plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Oversee inspections of materials, equipment, and processes to verify that they meet specified requirements. This includes conducting tests and reviewing test results.
  3. Ensure that all QA/QC documentation is maintained accurately, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
  4. Train and supervise QA/QC staff and ensure they adhere to established protocols and procedures.
  5. Monitor compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring that all activities align with company and regulatory standards.
  6. Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. This includes liaising with engineering and operational teams.
  7. Conduct internal audits and reviews of QA/QC processes to identify areas for improvement.
  8. Prepare regular reports on QA/QC activities, performance metrics, and findings for management.
  9. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and external auditors, to address quality-related issues.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes and reduce waste.
  11. Weekly or bi-weekly meetings with EPC/Contractor/Subcontractor Quality.
  12. Coordinate with quality engineers for conducting inspections from civil handover till final testing and reinstatement.
  13. Follow up with package owners and quality managers for maintaining good quality.
