- Develop and implement QA/QC plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Oversee inspections of materials, equipment, and processes to verify that they meet specified requirements. This includes conducting tests and reviewing test results.
- Ensure that all QA/QC documentation is maintained accurately, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Train and supervise QA/QC staff and ensure they adhere to established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring that all activities align with company and regulatory standards.
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. This includes liaising with engineering and operational teams.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews of QA/QC processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on QA/QC activities, performance metrics, and findings for management.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and external auditors, to address quality-related issues.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance quality processes and reduce waste.
- Weekly or bi-weekly meetings with EPC/Contractor/Subcontractor Quality.
- Coordinate with quality engineers for conducting inspections from civil handover till final testing and reinstatement.
- Follow up with package owners and quality managers for maintaining good quality.
