Job description

The QA / QC Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions of the assigned location. They will work closely with the head of operations and other functional managers to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations, and that quality and compliance standards are met. The position holder will develop and implement quality control plans and procedures, and manage a team of Quality Control and Quality Assurance professionals.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Enforce the implementation of quality control plans and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Ensure that all products delivered meet or exceed customer expectations, and that quality and compliance standards are met.
  3. Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  4. Work closely with all functional managers to identify and resolve quality issues, and to continuously improve product quality.
  5. Manage the non-conformance and corrective action process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of quality issues.
  6. Ensure that all quality documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and that it is stored and maintained properly.
  7. Develop and deliver quality training programs to ensure all employees are aware of quality standards and procedures.
  8. Supervise all QA / QC plans as well as amendments and revisions to meet project quality requirements and client expectations.
  9. Establish project quality objectives in line with IMS corporate objectives and monitor submittals of QA / QC reports.
  10. Build and implement a control system for suppliers and subcontractors.
  11. Manage and attend meetings related to project quality requirements with the project owner, consultant, and project management team.
Job Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Efficient leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate a team of professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to analyze complex data and develop solutions.
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
Job Experience

Minimum 8 years of working experience, with at least 5 years relevant experience. Experience in GCC countries is a plus.

Education
