QA / QC Manager

Location: Saudi Arabia

Salary: Market related

Our client is a global EPC company in the Oil and Gas sector with current operations in the Middle East.

We are seeking a QA/QC Manager for a project in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

1. Manage the QA/QC department.
2. Interface with the Client representative on QA/QC matters.
3. Coordinate QA/QC Engineers, Officers, Coordinators, and Inspectors in the field.
4. Collaborate with the Procurement Department to review procured material ITPs.
5. Follow up on Material Inspection Activities with project Expeditors.
6. Ensure compliance with Client requirements and the QA/QC Management system.
7. Coordinate QA/QC training and perform or assign resources for basic training.
8. Develop documentation related to QA/QC activities, such as Project Quality Plan, QA/QC procedures, Method Statement (QA/QC part), and Quality Control Plan (QCP).
9. Develop an Audit Plan and oversee welding activities through the Project Welding Coordinator/Engineer.
10. Implement corporate guidelines on reporting, feedback, auditing, and inspections.
11. Ensure proper record collection for mechanical completion and inclusion in the Project Final Dossier.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 15 years of project experience in the oil/gas industry.
• At least 5 years of experience as a QA/QC Manager.
• Technical certifications such as ASNT, AWS, or ASQ.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards for Quality Management Systems and ability to develop, maintain, and implement a QMS accordingly.
• Experience on large-scale oil & gas and/or petrochemical EPC projects.
• Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
