Job description

Role & Responsibilities

1. Inspect raw materials and mill certificates against the code/client specifications/drawings.
2. Inspect the fabrication of structures and piping to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
3. Conduct toolbox meetings to brief workers on structural, piping, mechanical, coating, and insulation requirements before work begins.
4. Perform welding-related audits, inspections, and consumable storage inspections; advise subcontractors to meet requirements.
5. Report any deviations from work activities or drawings immediately for corrective action.
6. Verify NDT personnel competence and perform field calibration to meet client requirements.
7. Ensure shop and field systems comply with NDT requirements (PT, MPI, RT, UT, PMI).
8. Interpret RT films and monitor NDT system performance regularly.
