Job description

WSP is seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Inspector to join our team for a major infrastructure project in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably on infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
  • Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of international quality standards and construction practices.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and tests on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor construction activities and materials to ensure adherence to approved quality plans and procedures.
  • Review and verify contractor’s quality documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and material approvals.
  • Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives on quality-related matters.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.
  • Support the QA/QC Engineer and Project Manager in ensuring overall quality objectives are met.
