Job summary

TÜV SÜD is hiring a QA/QC Civil Engineer to review inspection reports and ensure conformity with international standards. Based in Saudi Arabia, you will coordinate with site engineers, laboratory staff, and clients while maintaining QA/QC documents and facilitating audits.

The role requires 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in construction, strong knowledge of civil materials, and ability to prepare detailed reports. Onsite work in Ar-Riyāḍ with a focus on safety and quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in construction, testing or inspection.
• Strong knowledge of civil materials (concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, steel) and international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO).
• Experience in reviewing test reports, ITPs, and QA/QC documentation.
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural works, including foundations, concrete, steel structures and finishing.
• Proven experience in site inspection, supervision, and quality control.
• Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and documentation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and site safety practices.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify inspection and testing reports submitted by site Civil Engineers/Inspectors.
• Ensure compliance of test results and reports with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards (ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO and SBC).
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, Method Statements, NCRs, and corrective action reports.
• Coordinate with site engineers, laboratory staff, and clients for clarifications, follow-up actions, and approvals.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to inspection teams to maintain quality standards.
• Support internal and external quality audits, ensuring proper documentation and corrective measures.
• Consolidate and submit periodic QA/QC reports to management and clients.
• Conduct site visits, as required, to verify inspection activities or resolve quality-related issues.
• Follow up with inspection team in term of reports and inspection.
• Participation in external and internal audits within Quality team.

• Proficiency in reviewing inspection/test reports and preparing QA/QC documentation (ITPs, NCRs, Method Statements).
• Good command of MS Office and QA/QC-related software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
