QAQC Engineer
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 7 to 10 years in QA/QC roles within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries, focusing on static and rotating mechanical maintenance.
- Proven experience in turnaround projects and NDT techniques.
- Shall have O&G and petrochemical experience of a minimum of 5 years.
- Saudi Aramco approvals will be considered an additional advantage
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans for mechanical maintenance and turnaround projects in compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Oversee and perform NDT inspections and ensure that all testing methods (e.g., UT, PT, MT, RT) meet applicable standards.
- Monitor and inspect static and rotating mechanical equipment, including compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and pressure vessels, to ensure compliance with maintenance and repair protocols.
- Conduct quality audits, ensuring project execution aligns with ISO 9001 and client-specific standards.
- Review and approve material certificates, welding procedures, and testing records to ensure compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Act as the point of contact for quality-related discussions with clients (e.g., Aramco, SABIC) and third-party inspection agencies.
