Job Description

Quality Control & Compliance

• Conduct inspections and audits of Architectural and MEP installations (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical) at construction sites.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and materials (e.g., ductwork, piping, structural finishes).
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Building Codes (SBC), NFPA, ASHRAE, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Review material submittals, method statements, and test reports (e.g., pressure tests, airflow measurements).

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly QC reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and snag lists.
• Maintain as-built drawings and quality records for handover.
• Liaise with third-party inspectors and government authorities (e.g., Saudi Civil Defense) for approvals.

Design & Technical Review

• Review Architectural and MEP shop drawings (AutoCAD, Revit) for constructability and compliance.
• Identify design clashes and coordinate resolutions with engineers.
• Assist in value engineering to optimize quality and cost.

Site Supervision

• Monitor contractor workmanship for joinery, partitions, flooring, ceiling, and MEP systems.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Enforce HSE policies and report safety violations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in QC/QA for Architectural and MEP projects (GCC experience preferred).
• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM clash detection (Navisworks).
  Knowledge of SBC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and ISO 9001.
• Soft Skills:
  Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
  Excellent communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
