Job summary

A leading company in the power generation and energy sector is seeking a Quality Engineer with extensive experience in quality assurance and inspections for steel structures. Qualifications

Job Description:
  1. Plan in-process and final inspections of products and semi-finished metal parts related to Steel Center.
  2. Conduct inspections of incoming materials, fabricated, and powder-coated items.
  3. Ensure availability of technical drawings and instructions for products.
  4. Perform mechanical tests complying with standards and customer requirements.
  5. Inspect various metal parts, transformer tanks, switchgear parts, LV panels, housing, panel boards, control panels, switch racks, MCC parts, bus ducts, and skid assemblies; issue NCRs for non-conformance.
  6. Analyze welding performance, welder qualification tests, paint tests, and welding procedures.
  7. Conduct NDT, pressure, and vacuum tests as per design/customer requirements.
  8. Ensure compliance with ISO standards (QMS/EMS) and standard safety requirements.
Work Experience:

Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance for steel structures/fabrication activities, inspections, testing, and adherence to international codes and standards (e.g., AWS, ASME/ASTM, Aramco).
