Job description

Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of sourcing and procurement operations within the RSG CPU and RSG Laundry. The Procurement Manager will lead a team of procurement professionals, develop and implement efficient procurement processes, and drive operational excellence in procurement activities. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the smooth execution of procurement operations to support the organization's goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies for the RSG in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Derive the execution of Company and Procurement strategies such as: Supporting Local Content, Sustainability, Efficiency, Governance.
  • Lead and manage the sourcing and procurement operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Monitor and improve the team performance.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, key performance indicators (KPIs), and supplier performance metrics.
  • Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential suppliers and maintain a qualified supplier base for food and non-food categories.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand the requirements and develop sourcing strategies for food and non-food categories.
  • Lead and participate in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage contract compliance, reports & data management, supplier performance, and supply risk plan
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with legal and contract management teams to ensure favorable contract terms and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement supplier relationship management strategies to optimize supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Lead the procurement process for the RSG, including strategic sourcing, bidding, RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives through effective negotiation, value analysis, and supplier optimization. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
  • Interface with demand stakeholders to develop and finalize the annual demand and procurement plan for the category.
  • Standardizing the RSG products also conduct product rationalization and unification
  • Analyze and evaluate the product pricing trends on the existing and new products to identify opportunities to purchase.
  • Segment the Suppliers and develop supplier’s profiles and categorization to manage the category performance.
  • Develop and execute strategic procurement plans and initiatives to meet the organization's procurement objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of procurement-related transactions and payments.
  • Oversee the Procure to Pay procurement process and source to Contract in his/her region and manage the related procurement activities.
  • Manage the process of PO issuance, delivery confirmation, Delivery tracking, invoice submission on the portal, GRN issuance, payment, reconciliation
  • Monitors market trends, mitigate the risks related to the category, and ensure product availability
  • Manage procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting procurement and sourcing.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Ensure compliance to sourcing-specific policies and procedures as per the CATRION procurement manual.
  • Develop and improve the business process. Collaborate with other Divisions to improve procurement-related processes and procedures.
  • Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Recording and archiving documents in category & Procurement shared folder
  • Lead strategic sourcing process & source to contract process.

Skills:

  • A high level of experience in best practice procurement within relevant categories
  • Excellent negotiating skills drawing up and dealing with contracts of varying values and complexities, and managing supplier Service Level Agreements
  • Strong leadership, influencing, motivation, and management skills.
  • Drives understanding and staff development through high quality, consistent feedback
  • Commercially astute analyst, a natural problem solver with a strong understanding of leveraging operating efficiencies, opportunities to gain added value from suppliers and logistics partners
  • Strong process orientation, able to apply the clarity of purpose and define simple, robust operating processes
  • Concise and influential communicator, able to discuss complex issues with clarity and credibility to a cross-functional audience of varied experience.
  • Excellent Verbal & Written communication, Excellent Organizational skills and Excellent time Management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6–7 years of relevant professional experience.
