The Role

As a Purchasing Manager, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by supporting the effective management of all the financial matters of the hotel. You will be responsible for the purchasing of all items required by hotel departments and ensuring that the best prices are obtained without compromising quality.

This role is responsible for ensuring that all the financial affairs of the hotel/resort are conducted to the highest standards of honesty and integrity. High ethical standards are necessary to maintain both competitive advantage and the pride and confidence of our associates, and to provide quality products and services to customers and clients.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Purchasing Manager, you will need to:

  • Manage all purchase requests from Departments/Outlets.
  • Work closely with the Cost Controller to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Maintain frequent communication with departments regarding deliveries and outstanding orders.
  • Procure supplies and negotiate business terms.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and representatives to explore new product options.
  • Consistently compare prices offered by the hotel's supplier with other vendors in the market to secure the best prices while upholding quality standards.
  • Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.
