Job description

Job Title: Pump Engineering Consultant

We are seeking a Pump Engineering Consultant to join the Rotating Equipment Division under the Equipment Consulting Services Department.

The Rotating Equipment Division provides technical support for Aramco's operating facilities and new projects, develops value-adding concepts and technologies, and maintains Saudi Aramco's engineering standards related to rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical assessments of existing pumping systems and issue recommendations.
  • Provide technical support for capital projects involving pumps and seals at various project stages.
  • Utilize simulation and modeling of pump hydraulics and piping systems.
  • Contribute to investigations of major incidents or specific problems.
  • Promote a learning environment and share knowledge with engineers.
  • Introduce emerging technologies to address business challenges and improve equipment reliability.
  • Provide troubleshooting and develop innovative process solutions.
  • Act as a mentor in developing engineers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in oil and gas handling rotating equipment, focusing on pumps and pumping systems.
  • Relevant international professional certifications, such as Vibration analyst.
  • Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
