Summary
The Projects Manager is responsible for the direct operations of the project located in Makkah, including developing, implementing, and managing the contract to achieve the set SLA, client relationship, and P&L.
Job Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all activities related to the O&M of all project buildings and facilities, including systems and scope of work.
- Ensure that the quality of work meets the set standards and objectives.
- Maintain high staff productivity and efficiency in a professional and safety-conscious environment.
- Control financial performance and overall costs.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Plan and organize technical and administrative training for staff and labor.
- Support the project in achieving KPIs.
- Be accountable for the overall performance of the business unit, both financial and non-financial.
- Implement strategies approved by the Director of FM.
- Manage the Hajj season operations within the project.
- Maintain good relations with customers and business partners, resolving contractual issues at appropriate levels.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of operational policies and procedures aligned with FM strategies and objectives.
- Address and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Coordinate with other projects for resource optimization.
- Coordinate effectively with centralized functions.
- Provide necessary supervision to ensure a well-functioning project.
- Work collaboratively as a team member reporting to the Operations Manager.
- Ensure effective communication with the client.
- Identify and track KPIs, and develop plans for operational and cost improvements.
- Maximize revenue by securing additional work, scope, or area to enhance profitability.
Skills
- BSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building discipline.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, FMP, CFM, CEM.
- Minimum 10 years of managerial experience, with at least five years in Operation and Maintenance or Facilities Management.
- Saudi National, aged 30–40 years.
- Based in Makkah.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Databases).
- Experience with CAFM, ERP, and related systems.
