Could you be the full-time onsite Project Test & Commissioning Manager in Jeddah, SA we’re looking for?


Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and driven teammates.
You’ll ensure the successful planning and management of all Test & Commissioning activities, demonstrating that the turnkey system delivered meets customer requirements and performance expectations. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (e.g., Project Managers, V&V Managers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams), ensure compliance with EHS policies and local regulations, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Planning and managing Test & Commissioning (T&C) activities in alignment with the project strategy and QCD commitments
  • Leading the T&C team to ensure successful demonstration of system performance and compliance with customer requirements
  • Collaborating with the V&V manager to define and implement the Verification & Validation (V&V) strategy in both lab and field environments
  • Monitoring and managing risks and opportunities related to T&C activities
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of T&C deliverables
  • Driving continuous improvement within T&C processes and methodologies
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to team members
  • Ensuring compliance with Alstom’s standards, policies, and professional practices

Reporting progress, challenges, and solutions to the Project Manager and stakeholders,
Ensuring adherence to EHS policies and local regulations throughout all T&C activities.

  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of Test & Commissioning activities in complex projects, preferably in the railway or transportation industry
  • Knowledge of Validation & Verification (V&V) processes and strategies
  • Strong project management or leadership certification or communication skill
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate diverse teams effectively
  • Excellent organizational and planning capabilities
  • Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies and compliance with local regulations
