Job description

Our client is a well-reputed EPC company in the Power Transmission sector. As a Project Quality Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting audits, ensuring customer compliance, and overseeing quality assurance and control processes.
  2. Managing testing, validation, root cause analysis, documentation, and reporting.
  3. Monitoring supplier quality management and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional responsibilities involve:

  1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management plan tailored to substation projects.
  2. Ensuring all project activities comply with company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations, including conducting regular audits and inspections.
  3. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, and preparing quality reports for management and stakeholders.
  4. Identifying, documenting, and resolving non-conformances, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  5. Evaluating and monitoring the quality performance of vendors and suppliers, ensuring materials and services meet quality standards.
  6. Providing training and support to project teams on quality management principles.
  7. Serving as the primary contact for quality-related matters with customers, addressing concerns, and ensuring their requirements are met.
  8. Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and project outcomes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in quality management within the power generation or construction sector, focusing on substations.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or PMP are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of substation design, construction, and operation, with proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
