Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project Operations Lead in Riyadh to oversee operational execution across a portfolio of projects. You will drive planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and governance to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with high quality.

You will coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams, monitor risks, and report progress to leadership, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project operations or management.
• Strong understanding of PMI/PRINCE2/Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.

Overview

The Project Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the operational execution of projects, ensuring delivery objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role acts as a bridge between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to drive efficiency, governance, and continuous improvement. The position focuses on project planning, resource management, performance tracking, and operational excellence across the project portfolio.

Your role

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project operations, project management, or program management.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar).
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• Advanced skills in project tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
• Ability to manage risks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and team collaboration capabilities.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
