KBR is looking for Project Manager - Security to be based in Riyad, Saudi Arabia

Reports to: Security Director / Program Director

Job Type: Full-time, On-Site

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in Security Management, including leadership of major construction or development sites

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of all site-based security operations across multiple zones within the DGII program.
  • Manage and coordinate all security contractors, consultants, and site-based personnel.
  • Develop and enforce the Security Management Plan in alignment with project requirements and evolving site conditions.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for physical and operational security threats.
  • Establish access control protocols, perimeter defenses, surveillance systems, and incident response procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, DGCL protocols, and international security standards (e.g., ISO 18788, ASIS standards).
  • Collaborate closely with construction, logistics, and HSE teams to ensure seamless integration of security into daily operations.
  • Provide timely reporting, dashboards, and escalation of critical issues to the Security Director and Program leadership.
  • Lead security briefings, training sessions, and induction programs for all security staff and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with local authorities, military, and police when required for coordinated security measures.
  • Review and approve method statements and risk assessments related to security systems installation and site protection measures.
  • Continuously evaluate security technologies, proposing enhancements as the project progresses toward operational readiness.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in managing site security operations on large-scale developments or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in managing security across complex sites with multiple contractors, zones, and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, intrusion detection, and integrated command centers.
  • Certification in security management (e.g., CPP, PSP, CSMP) .
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Experience:

  • Previous involvement in giga-projects or landmark developments in the Gulf region.
  • Experience managing a multicultural team and security providers under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the security requirements of Royal Commission or Vision 2030-linked programs.
