Job Title: Project Manager - Storage Tank Projects

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in storage tank projects to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in accordance with Saudi Aramco and Ma’aden standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing EPC projects, with deep knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and client specifications.

1. Lead the planning and execution of storage tank construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
2. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project compliance.
3. Oversee the procurement process, negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships for materials and services.
4. Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and financial status.
5. Manage on-site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and addressing any issues that arise promptly.
6. Utilize project management software to track progress, allocate resources, and adjust schedules as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, with a preference for specialized training in storage tank design.
2. Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in project management within the oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
3. Ensure compliance with API 650, API 653, and ASME standards, as well as company and client safety and quality procedures.
4. Manage procurement of materials and subcontractor services related to storage tank fabrication and erection.
5. Oversee quality control and inspection activities in alignment with Aramco and Ma’aden project requirements.
6. Prepare and submit regular project reports, progress updates, and documentation for client approval.
7. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
8. Proven track record of managing large-scale storage tank projects from conception to completion.
9. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
10. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and engage stakeholders.
