Job Purpose

BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor supporting Saudi Arabia through equipment provision, support, and training for the Royal Saudi Air Force. We focus on aircraft maintenance and training RSAF personnel in a safe environment.

Job Accountabilities

The Project Manager will define, plan, manage, and deliver projects meeting customer and business requirements, overseeing all aspects from design to handover, ensuring they meet cost, time, and quality standards.

The role emphasizes leadership in the SSS Obsolescence Management Process, collaborating with functional areas to ensure capability is fit for purpose, critical for future sustainment.

This role may involve managing a team of PM professionals or acting as an individual expert in project management disciplines.

The Project Manager will develop project plans and budgets, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures to minimize risks and maximize opportunities. They will manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, lead, develop, and motivate the project team, and conduct post-project reviews to share lessons learned.

They will also ensure compliance with BAE Systems Saudi Arabia's governance and operational frameworks, including planning, risk management, performance monitoring, and contract reviews.
