Job Responsibilities
- Seek a Project Manager experienced in the construction of Cross-Country Pipelines.
- Deep experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of pipelines.
- Oversee and direct the overall project from conception to completion, including conceptual design, detailed design, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover of hydrocarbon facilities, pipelines, piping, plant process equipment installation, structural steel fabrication, and associated civil, E & I, and communication works.
- Have a strong technical background to command and control the overall project and subcontractors.
- Be familiar with and aware of international codes and standards.
- Review project scope in-depth to schedule deliverables and execute the project within planned scope and budget.
- Maintain relationships with top management of clients.
- Attend project meetings with clients.
- Ensure correct application of terms and conditions of ongoing contracts.
- Monitor project resources and identify potential optimizations.
- Prepare reports, consolidating progress and highlighting areas of concern.
- Monitor overall project performance in terms of scheduling, cost, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Oversee budget and ensure financial accountability.
- Identify potential contractual change orders and claims.
- Coordinate and negotiate contract variations with clients.
- Foresee client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Support procurement and engineering teams.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite project activities, including planning, scheduling, control, resource management, procurement, construction, subcontractor management, and QHSE compliance.
- Coordinate and direct project teams across all phases of execution.
- Manage project administration, mechanisms, and controls.
- Maintain awareness of interdependencies with other projects and stakeholders.
- Identify support and advice needed for project management, planning, and control.
- Conduct periodic project evaluations and recommend follow-up actions.
- Supervise selection of tools, materials, and equipment, and track inventory.
- Review daily work progress and prepare internal and external reports.
- Plan ahead (monthly, weekly) to prevent problems and resolve issues.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure contractual performance conditions are met.
- Coordinate with QHSE to ensure compliance with standards.
