Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee complex construction operations in petrochemical plant environments. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 15 years of Gulf experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia, working with reputed construction contractors in live plant settings. Strong leadership skills, deep technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to MOC (Management of Change) projects are essential. Candidates must be capable of managing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and timely project delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all phases of construction activities in petrochemical plant projects, especially within live plant environments.


  • Oversee multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.


  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, safety regulations, and quality protocols.


  • Implement and monitor MOC (Management of Change) processes in coordination with client representatives.


  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and schedules.


  • Manage project planning, resource allocation, and progress tracking to meet budget and time constraints.


  • Act as the main point of contact between the client, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.


  • Prepare project reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.


  • Drive productivity and ensure continuous improvement in construction methodologies.


  • Lead daily progress meetings, resolve site issues promptly, and ensure all documentation is in order for audits and handovers.


Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.).


  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the Gulf, preferably Saudi Arabia.


  • Extensive experience in the petrochemical construction industry, with proven records from contractor companies.


  • Demonstrated ability to handle live plant construction and shutdown/MOC projects.


Key Skills Required:
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities


  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices in petrochemical environments


  • Proficient in reviewing technical documents and coordinating across disciplines
