Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of project management experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes on time and within budget. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, manage project risks, and foster continuous improvement in processes and results.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Initiation
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Clearly define project goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate tasks among team members, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Risk & Issue Management
- Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and maintain contingency plans.
- Budget & Resource Management
- Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Negotiate and secure necessary resources, including staffing and third-party vendors.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate project status, milestones, and key issues to all stakeholders, including senior management.
- Facilitate regular status meetings, steering committees, and other project governance activities.
- Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Prepare and present regular project updates, performance reports, and documentation.
- Process Improvement & Best Practices
- Apply industry-standard project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile) and tools.
- Identify lessons learned and best practices to improve organizational project management maturity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in project management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects successfully.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Scrum Master) are highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello) and collaboration tools.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and resolve project-related risks and issues.
- Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
