#### Job Description
Plan, execute, and deliver IT infrastructure projects (e.g., cloud migrations, network upgrades, data center consolidations, cybersecurity enhancements). Define project scope, goals, timelines, budgets, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Lead cross-functional teams (internal IT, vendors, and contractors) to ensure alignment with business objectives. Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating blockers as needed. Monitor progress, track KPIs, and provide regular status updates to leadership. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and industry best practices (ITIL, Agile, PMP). Optimize processes for infrastructure deployment, scalability, and operational efficiency. Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
#### Personal Skills
Education:Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field (master’s/MBA preferred).
Experience:8+ years in IT project management, with 5+ years focused on
infrastructure(networks, cloud, data centers, etc.).
Certifications:PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Agile/Scrum, or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a plus. Excellent communication & negotiation skills. Excellent leadership skills. Excellent technical report writing skills. Very good command of English. Excellent computer skills, i.e., Primavera and/or Microsoft Project.
#### Technical Skills
1. Infrastructure Fundamentals
Knowledge of data center operations (rack & stack, cooling, power, cabling).
Understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, load balancers).
Familiarity with server hardware (blade servers, hyperconverged infrastructure).
2. Cloud & Virtualization
Experience with cloud migrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud architectures.
Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
3. Security & Compliance
Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Experience with IAM (Identity & Access Management), encryption, and endpoint security.
Knowledge of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) planning.
4. DevOps & Automation
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for task automation.
Exposure to monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, Prometheus).
5. Storage & Backup
Understanding of SAN/NAS (EMC, NetApp, Pure Storage).
Experience with backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik).
6. Collaboration & Tools
Proficient in project management tools (Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, Smartsheet).
Experience with ITSM/ITIL processes (incident, change, and problem management).
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies for infrastructure projects.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Certifications: PMP, ITIL, CCNA, AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP.
Exposure to SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge).
Experience with legacy system modernization (mainframe, on-prem to cloud).
Technical Knowledge:Familiarity with infrastructure technologies (SD-WAN, virtualization, DevOps, IaC, cybersecurity).
Tools:Proficient in Jira, MS Project, ServiceNow, Confluence, or similar.
