Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact with the customer and take appropriate action as required.
• Ensure that the management of the company is fully aware of all potential risks and topics related to the client, and the use of appropriate communication and escalation.
• Manage financial accounts of the project with a focus on priority collection of invoices to prevent the accumulation or suspension of debts.
• Assist in minimizing and preventing invoice discounts arising from sanctions and providing monthly justification for company sanctions and corrective actions taken.
• Provide the weekly report of the project manager, which contains all the details and statements required.
• Attend weekly management meetings as required.
• Make recommendations on additional personnel requirements and contribute to employment, training and health and safety issues.
• Acting on other project managers when necessary.
• Play a pivotal role in identifying areas for process improvement within the project management framework and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
• Experience managing projects under different contractual models.
• Proactive and highly organized, experience in coordinating multiple teams in remote locations within a complex/matrixed organization.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in project management of large or mega projects.
