To take ownership of the whole sales and after-sales operation projects within the automotive sector. The job holder is expected to blend engineering expertise with a strong project management background to drive the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that enhance service quality and operational efficiency. In this role, you will ensure that all sales & after-sales projects meet strategic objectives, comply with industry standards, and deliver exceptional customer experience.
Project Management
• Break down larger projects into smaller, manageable tasks with specific milestones to track progress.
• Create detailed timelines, manage dependencies, and adjust plans as needed to ensure timely delivery.
• Review and evaluate any project changes, ensuring they align with the scope and objectives, and adjust plans accordingly.
• Conduct inspections and reviews to ensure that deliverables meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, project coordinators, and other team members to improve their skills and performance.
• Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and procedures.
• Facilitate the smooth transition of completed projects to clients or operations teams for final implementation or support.
• Oversee financials for each project phase, ensuring that costs remain within budget and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Continuously evaluate project workflows and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Proactively identify potential risks and develop plans to minimize or eliminate them.
• Monitor project adherence to local, state, and industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Ensure that all aspects of the project are ready for launch, with a focus on smooth implementation and successful delivery.
• Prevent or manage scope changes by adhering to agreed-upon deliverables, adjusting plans, and gaining approval for changes.
Report & Record keeping
• After project completion, review outcomes, identify lessons learned, and share insights for future projects.
• Oversee the creation, storage, and organization of project documents, including contracts, designs, and technical drawings.
Stakeholder Management
• Schedule and lead team meetings to review progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment across all involved parties.
• Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services that meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and document clear project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Work closely with teams such as IT, design, engineering, and operations to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and future action plans.
• Assess project team performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance individual and team growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering preferred).
• PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) is required.
• Strong understanding of after-sales processes, including service, parts management, and customer support.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
5+ years of project management experience, preferably.
