Job Title: Project Leader PME

Job Description

As a Project Manager Engineering, you are leading a multidisciplinary team of project engineers. You work towards the successful completion of projects in an international environment, steering progress, managing costs and quality, and taking necessary actions. You have a technical overview and can focus on details when needed. You coordinate with subcontractors and discuss technical issues with customers to reach agreements. You also focus on the development of your team members through coaching and facilitation. You report to the Manager Engineering and regularly communicate with Project Managers and Integration Managers.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Lead one or more large and/or complex projects.
  2. Define the project plan and schedule.
  3. Manage project budget, planning, risks & opportunities, and report on these periodically.
  4. Ensure timely delivery of all engineering outputs including specifications, materials, documentation, training, and service takeover.
  5. Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Integration Managers, and lead engineers; coordinate activities of the engineering team.
  6. Conduct health and safety analyses and oversee safety during engineering.
  7. Line manager for all project engineers in the multidisciplinary team.
  8. Plan team resources and identify needs to maintain a balanced team.
  9. Focus on the continuous development of team members and the team as a whole.
Your Profile
  • Technical degree at least at bachelor level.
  • Significant experience as a project leader, familiar with scope, planning, budget, and risks & opportunities management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and engineering teams.
  • Pragmatic attitude, balancing quality, lead time, costs, and technology.
  • Proactive with initiative-taking skills.
  • Ability to coach employees to maximize their potential.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
