Job Title: Project Execution Group Leader XXL Projects

Your position

As Project Execution Group Leader for XXL Projects, your responsibility is to staff and develop the project execution resources for the Airports XXL projects portfolio, aligning with the company’s strategic goals. You will focus on continuously improving team performance and realizing the company’s objectives in line with Vanderlande’s growth strategy.

This role reports to the Executive Director of Project Execution, Jan Kerkhof, and manages approximately 10 direct reports across Europe and the Middle East.

Responsibilities & Your Profile

As a Project Execution Group Leader, you operate at a tactical level, translating strategy into effective operations. You have experience leading improvement programs in complex, international environments, driving cultural change towards continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing multi-disciplinary project execution teams in project management, planning, safety, installations, and procurement, fostering a high-performance culture. This may involve developing and delivering training programs to enhance project execution competencies.
• Identifying and implementing improvement activities through continuous improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.
• Conducting post-project reviews (lessons learned) and ensuring improvements are embedded in future projects.

• At least 5 years of experience in project execution within a technical international environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with organizational development and behavioral change is a plus.
