· Seeking a Project Engineer experienced in the construction of Cross-Country Pipelines.
· The ideal candidate should have deep experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction of pipelines.
· Essential duties:
- He shall be fully familiar with and aware of international codes and standards.
- Responsible for monitoring day-to-day project activities and assisting the Project Manager in achieving targets and project objectives.
- Responsible for monitoring and supervising the assigned project downstream team.
- Review design packages of each phase until issuance of IFC design drawings and MTOs, and verify quantities.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement departments for follow-up/resolution to facilitate construction.
- Responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating the technical aspects of the project with the Project Manager, Planning Engineer, and Construction Manager as applicable.
- Resolve construction issues by preparing technical queries in coordination with the Project Manager, Engineering Department, and Construction Team.
- Participate in client/contractor meetings and initiate resolutions. Prepare MOMs.
- Prepare/review daily and weekly progress reports, construction two-week look-ahead plans, and report to the Construction Manager/Project Manager.
- Draft and address project letters to various stakeholders fluently.
- Monitor and control subcontractors' daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to QHSE requirements.
- Ensure all construction activities align with the project quality plan.
- Anticipate client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Oversee onsite and offsite project activities, including planning, scheduling, project control, resource management, engineering, procurement, construction, subcontractor management, and QHSE compliance.
- Coordinate and direct the project team across all phases of execution.
- Manage project administration mechanisms, monitor, and control project progress.
- Maintain awareness of interdependencies with other projects/stakeholders and their impacts.
- Identify and obtain support and advice for project management, planning, and control.
- Conduct periodic project evaluations and prepare follow-up action recommendations.
- Supervise selection of tools, materials, equipment, and establish inventory tracking.
- Review daily work progress.
- Prepare internal and external reports on job status.
- Plan ahead (monthly, weekly) to prevent problems and resolve issues.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure contractual performance conditions are met.
- Coordinate with QHSE to ensure standard compliance.
