Job summary

Surbana Jurong Group is seeking a Project Director – Construction Supervision to lead major infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will direct multidisciplinary teams, oversee construction supervision, contracts, and project controls, and maintain senior client relationships.

Candidates should have 20+ years delivering large infrastructure, GCC/KSA experience, and certifications such as PMP or Chartership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 20+ years in major infrastructure delivery including construction supervision and leadership.
• Proven track record delivering large, complex infrastructure projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of project management, contract administration, and project controls.
• Experience managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
• Experience in international consultancy environments is desirable.
• GCC and KSA project experience is strongly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Chartership, or equivalent are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, construction supervision, commercial, and project controls functions.
• Act as the primary client interface, maintaining strong relationships with clients, government authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement mitigation strategies as required.
• Oversee contract administration, commercial management, and claims resolution activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and governance requirements.
• Drive project excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives across project teams.
• Support business development activities, including client engagement, proposals, and strategic growth initiatives.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Minimum 20+ years of experience in the delivery of major infrastructure projects, including significant experience in construction supervision and project leadership roles
• Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex infrastructure projects and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of project management, construction supervision, contract administration, commercial management, and project controls
• Extensive experience managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement at senior levels
• Experience working within international consultancy environments is highly desirable
• GCC and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia project experience is strongly preferred
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Chartership, or equivalent are advantageous
