Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced strategic Project Director with a passion for architecture/developments to join our Buildings & Logistics unit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project aims to elevate Saudi Arabia's tourism industry by attracting discerning travelers seeking exclusive experiences, luxury, and a deep connection with nature. This is your opportunity to shape urban design and lead transformative projects that showcase architectural excellence. You will oversee the full lifecycle of major projects, from planning to completion, requiring exceptional leadership, project management expertise, and a commitment to excellence, sustainability, and client satisfaction in Saudi Arabia. The Project Director will ensure projects align with local regulations, contribute to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

In joining Jacobs you will:

  1. Influence and support client project delivery through effective planning, monitoring, controlling, and reporting.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams of project managers, engineers, and professionals, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
  3. Manage large-scale, high-profile projects, ensuring timely, within-budget completion, and high quality.
  4. Proactively manage project risks and develop strategies to minimize delays and costs.
  5. Maintain positive project financial health, cash flow, and margins.
  6. Ensure delivery of technical, engineering, project controls, commercial, and financial services.
  7. Review and approve Project Execution Plans, Procurement Strategies, and Delivery Strategies.
  8. Challenge design to ensure adherence to international best practices.
  9. Foster positive relationships with stakeholders.
  10. Conduct inductions, performance reviews, and development plans for team growth.
  11. Lead by example to ensure QMS and project lifecycle compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in Architecture or Engineering from a recognized university, with hands-on experience on mega projects, preferably in the Middle East. Strong knowledge of project management control principles, leadership skills, client management, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. An internationally recognized professional registration is a plus.
