Project Director - bridges, tunnels, infrastructure

My client is a leading international construction company who have an excellent reputation and a track record of working on large marine and oil and gas construction projects all over the world. They are currently working on a marine construction project in the Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia and are looking to recruit an experienced Project Director for the following:

1. Apply contemporary practices in project management to deliver projects from inception through to completion, in compliance with client expectations and contractual obligations.
2. Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment corporate policies and procedures and local laws and regulations.
3. Ensure effective contract, commercial and risk management, accurate forecasting of costs and revenue, and taking corrective action as required to achieve timely project delivery within budget estimates.
4. Ensure establishment and implementation of an effective risk management plan.
5. Be responsible for effective client relationship management to ensure that customer expectations are met.
6. Resolve most project issues, with any business-critical or strategic issues referred to the Operations Manager.

Candidates should have an engineering degree and a proven background in the management of large projects including marine, tunnels, bridges, highways, and infrastructure.
