Job Description

The Project Coordinator should be an engineer experienced in the design and review of Synchronous Condensers and combined cycle power plants, familiar with international codes and standards. Responsibilities include attending design review meetings, reviewing contractor drawings and submittals for compliance, liaising with the home office and on-site engineers, and coordinating comments and approvals with the contractor.

Responsibilities

1. Engineering Deliverables Coordination: Act as the primary contact for review and approval of engineering deliverables, track submissions, and ensure timely dissemination.
2. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain schedules for reviews and approvals, monitor progress, and mitigate delays.
3. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Organize meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and manage communication channels.
4. Documentation and Quality Control: Ensure standards are met, maintain records, and verify deliverables' accuracy.
5. Risk Management: Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain a risk register.
6. Change Management: Manage changes to deliverables, document and communicate them, and assess impacts.
7. Reporting: Prepare progress and status reports, highlighting key issues and milestones.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and Project Management; PMP certification is a plus.

Experience: 15+ years in project coordination within power, energy, or engineering sectors; familiarity with power plants and EPC projects preferred.

Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and software skills (MS Project, Primavera, SharePoint, Aconex); excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
