A leading organization seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex governmental projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, strong leadership skills, and ability to adapt to dynamic environments. Responsibilities include leading project teams, developing comprehensive plans, and interacting with stakeholders, requiring proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
We seek a seasoned Senior Project Manager with extensive experience managing complex projects from initiation through closure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in managing and working in Governmental projects. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and navigating challenges in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
• Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and business goals.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets, while optimizing human and financial resources to maximize efficiency.
• Proactively manage project risks, issues, and changes, adopting both agile and waterfall methodologies as needed.
• Implement quality assurance processes and monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment, and resolve conflicts to ensure a productive project atmosphere.
• Develop and implement a communication plan to engage stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and best practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation within project management practices.
• Oversee the handover of project deliverables, ensure deliverables acceptance, conduct post-project evaluations, and ensure all project documentation is completed and archived.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years in Project Management.
• Proven track record of experience in managing and working in Governmental projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a must.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Visio)
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with higher ranks and upper management, both internal and external.
• Fluent in English & Arabic.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
• Adaptability to changing project environments and stakeholder needs.
