Project Accountant

Reports to: Accounting Manager / Finance Director

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and record all financial transactions related to ongoing projects.
2. Review and validate project-related cost allocations (materials, labor, subcontractors).
3. Track project budgets vs. actuals and report any deviations.
4. Work closely with the Project Managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
5. Ensure proper revenue recognition as per project progress (e.g., % of completion).
6. Prepare monthly project profitability reports and support WIP analysis.
7. Assist in billing clients based on milestones or progress certificates.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Saudi citizens only.
2. Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
3. 3+ years in project accounting or cost control.
4. Strong knowledge of project-based accounting principles.
5. Strong Excel and ERP system skills.
6. Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and PMO teams.
