A leading medical technology company is seeking a Professional Education Manager to oversee training programs related to Transcatheter Heart Valves. The role involves developing educational content and strategies to enhance customer understanding and application of products. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in the Med Tech field, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
As Professional Education Manager, you will be responsible for providing education and support on all the aspects of the device, device handling, implantation, imaging and troubleshooting techniques related to tools, equipment and products required for THV (Transcatheter Heart Valves) implants in MENAT Region.
Supports and collaborates on development and execution of internal (EW personnel) and external (HCPs and distributors) live or on-demand training and development activities. The overarching aim is to train and develop internal and external customers and key influencers in the clinical use of the Edwards THV and optimize their awareness of the procedures, clinical benefits of THV products while ensuring the tools are used correctly and safely.
Actively participates within the training activities and provides expertise and clinical insights into the devices and procedures.
Appropriately plans and manages the regional proctoring program including related activities appropriately and effectively integrated into the physician training pathway in-line with the annual Professional Education plan.
Drives training, administration and maintenance of mandatory EW personnel certifications, acting as a mentor and coach within the certification process and maintenance of the certifications.
Drives THV efforts and procedure best practices both externally and internally while ensuring patient pathway streamlining.
Supports development of training content and tools to increase competencies of technical content and intended clinical behavioral change for internal and external stakeholders.
Creates and administers policies related to the area, proposes and implements solutions to optimize professional education processes.
Cooperates on the annual training plan creation and ensures that all the learning activities are carried out in a timely manner.
Supports ad hoc analysis and access to new training methodologies as incorporated into product launches as appropriate.
Works closely with the Professional Education EEMEA Leader to ensure training activity is efficiently managed.
Prepares the training pathways and training plans for new product launches.
Manages the Training Center Programs and Center of Excellence in MENAT
Other incidental duties.
What you ll need:
Bachelor s degree in related field and
5+ years of previous relevant experience in a Med Tech company.
Experience in execution of in-person and digital educational activities.
Verbal and written communication skills in English with good command of business English.
Ability to travel 60%
