Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking a Production Technician to assemble and install parts in the production line. The role involves following assembly instructions and documentation, operating hoists, and ensuring quality checks. Candidates should have technical vocational training and the ability to lift weights. Good communication skills and familiarity with air/torque tools will be advantageous. This position is based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

Production technician is responsible for assembling/installing parts in the allotted manufacturing stage in assembly line as per assembly manual in accordance with the daily production schedule and cycle time in a safe and efficient manner.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Ability to read and understand assembly instructions/manuals.
• Ability to read and understand the equipment check sheets.
• Familiarity using air/torque tightening tools.

Physical Requirements

1. Should be able to lift weights up to 20 kg.
2. Should be able to use hands and fingers to grasp, move, or assemble objects.
3. Should be able to work in bend/standing position for prolonged time.

Roles, responsibilities, and authorities

• Performs assembly/installation operations in the allotted manufacturing stage.
• Checks and documents FRL (Filter, Regulator, Lubricator) components.
• Performs 3S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize) before and after operations.
• Operates hoists for lifting and positioning components.
• Handles equipment appropriately during manufacturing processes.
• Fills out check sheets to document and track key information.
• Conducts two-minute parts checking to ensure quality and accuracy.
