Position Summary:
Direct and oversee all Packaging Line Production and Process Operations to achieve strategic objectives and goals in a timely and cost-effective manner. Ensure the attainment of production targets and maintain overall control of all Production Lines within manufacturing operations, adhering to sequence norms and procedures in alignment with organizational policies, guidelines, and objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Analyze risks/hazards on the line and implement preventive actions to prevent, limit, or eliminate the risks.
- Investigate and prepare Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for quality issues and non-conformance reports (NCR) and collaborate with the Supervisor for PQC-related CAPA.
- Remove all obsolete documents, Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Raw Materials (RM) from the line following the correct procedures and disposition.
- Audit that all Food Safety Management System (FSMS) tasks and 5S findings are addressed with appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with R&D for new product development or with Supply Chain for packaging trials for commercial purposes.
- Focus on continuous improvement in production and process productivity. Maintain team management for clear communication with workers, fostering enthusiasm for teamwork and achieving results.
- Ensure the full development of production and process workers for their personal and the company's prosperity. This involves scientific selection, providing workplace training, and facilitating external training.
- Maintain a zero-variance report for PM/RM and escalate if any discrepancies are identified.
- Support the Superintendent in creating a manpower schedule as per the plan and control overtime within budget constraints.
- Spend time between Production/Process areas and with engineering supervisors, adhering to established health and safety practices. Conduct meetings with subordinates and other department supervisors.
- Generate ideas to promote continuous improvements through team involvement.
- Actively participate in the Operational Excellence (OE) group or support other OE teams.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: B.Tech ( Dairy or Food technology), B.E ( Mechanical )
- Minimum 5 Years in a Manufacturing Company like Dairy, Beverages in the Production and Processing Department
- Job-Specific Skills:
- Excellent English Skills (Knowledge in Arabic is preferred)
- Specific knowledge and understanding of equipment for production and process operation.
- Basic Computer Skills and SAP/ERP knowledge if any
