Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Support Resource to join our team supporting Investment applications and trading platforms. This role involves managing production incidents, supporting application releases, coordinating infrastructure upgrades, and deploying middleware solutions for new projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Linux systems, middleware, and DevOps tools, with strong problem-solving abilities in high pressure production environments. Must be proactive and fine tune the system and response to system generated alerts.

• Provide production support for Investment applications and trading platforms.
• Monitor and respond to incidents and service requests on production systems, ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate and manage application releases and deployments across environments.
• Provide technical support for testing activities in SIT and UAT environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to support system upgrades and patches within the bank.
• Build and configure new middleware environments and setups for upcoming projects.
• Ensure systems are compliant with security standards and best practices

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 plus years of experience is required.
• Strong experience with web servers and application servers.
• Hands-on expertise with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and Apache Tomcat.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins and other DevOps processes.
• Proficient in Linux system administration (RHEL preferred).
• Knowledge of IT security standards and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with Windows Server environments.
