We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer with a background in Investment Banking and 4 to 8 years of hands-on support experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Linux-based systems, cloud platforms, and be adept at supporting complex, high-performance trading and banking applications. This role involves supporting critical systems in a fast-paced, highly regulated financial environment, with a focus on stability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of production support experience with at least 2+ years in Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including deployment and monitoring.
• Familiarity with electronic trading platforms, order management systems (OMS), or risk management systems is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Nagios, Prometheus).
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Python, or Perl.
• Experience with incident management tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
• Understanding of ITIL processes, SLAs, and change management in a production environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2/3 production support for applications in the Investment Banking domain, including trading, risk, and settlement systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to business operations.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes for recurring incidents.
• Manage and support application environments hosted on Linux servers and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure seamless application performance and uptime.
• Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support releases and upgrades during off-hours when necessary.
• Contribute to automation and scripting efforts to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and security standards typical in investment banking environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting real-time trading platforms or market data systems.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol, market connectivity, or financial messaging.
• Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Certifications in Linux, cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), or ITIL Foundation
