Responsibilities

• Directs the maintenance and staff activities engaged in maintenance planning, inspection, repair and servicing of assigned aircraft and associated support equipment.
• Plans and schedules work assignments, workloads and maintenance procedures.
• Analyzes reports and maintenance plans to determine requirements for specialists.
• Coordinates with Supply, Operations, and other maintenance activities to improve procedures and resolve problems.
• Maintains complete and process Personnel Management Reports such as Attendance Reports, Medical Excuses and Time Sheets.
• The Production Superintendent position is a Maintenance position wherein the duties trend towards dealing with technical issues and job protection.

Requirements

• Requires a minimum of 7 years experience in AFSC 43171/452XX/2A373A, or equivalent maintenance specialty of which two years must have been associated with F-15 system support.
• Qualification as an F-15 Aircraft Maintenance Specialist is mandatory.
• In addition, a minimum of one (1) year experience in performing or supervising functions such as installation, repair and modification or overhaul of aircraft, aircraft systems and components are mandatory.
• Must have in depth knowledge of policies and procedures relating to aircraft safety and training.
• Must be proficient in communications skills necessary to write reports and conduct on the job training.
• Must have skills necessary to plan and schedule assigned resources to ensure aircraft are available to meet operational requirements.
