Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with the Production Manager to prepare production plans based on job priority, machine limitations, and material availability.
2. Review workshop drawings and bill of materials to understand the job before fabrication.
3. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Warehouse departments to ensure all requirements are met and materials are available on time.
4. Lead, evaluate, and develop the workshop team to ensure timely completion of jobs within budget and specifications.
5. Transfer job information and knowledge to the team and discuss processes and techniques prior to fabrication.
6. Monitor job progress against plans and update the Production Manager on necessary changes.
7. Evaluate subcontractors’ performance.
8. Prepare packing lists and conduct material take-offs.
9. Review and approve material requisitions.
10. Conduct quality checks including pre-weld, pre-surface, and post-surface treatments.
11. Identify and record nonconformities and coordinate corrective actions.
12. Resolve operational problems to minimize delays.
13. Ensure product identification and traceability during each stage.
14. Maintain staff productivity, efficiency, and safety practices.
15. Manage preventive and reactive maintenance functions.
16. Prepare performance and resource reports for management.
